Brides-les-Bains and Meribel access

Brides Les Bains is a lovely village with direct gondola lift access into the heart of the Meribel and Les Trois Vallees ski areas. Brides really sprang into life for the 1992 Olympic Games, when the superb new lift system was installed.
The pretty resort centre has good services including shops, bars (inexpensive), restaurants, banks and a pharmacy - all in a lovely setting with riverside walks and parks.
Originally more famous as a summer health spa, Brides is a quite delightful place to stay.  Also the quality and value for money here is exceptionally good when compared to staying higher up the mountain in Meribel.
